I heard a new MMOG called 'DC Universe' was unvieled at comic con. I got all excited until I learned that it won't be released until next year. So instead I'm playing City of Heroes.

It's the first time I've played a MMOG. Spent most of yesterday just creating my character. I'm "River Styx", a magic/scrapper. If anyone would like to play with me I can send you an invite to play for 14 days free (that's what I'm doing). If you're not familiar with the game, you get to create your own superhero and fight crime in the city of Paragon. The options for customizing your character are really impressive. You don't even have to make them look like a traditional hero. I dressed mine up in a black suit, purple sunglasses, and slightly emo hair.

If you decide to sign up and play, I've been playing on the 'Pinnacle' server.

These are so hilarious (the first two especially), I just had to share.

The Doctor goes Tardis shopping.

The Doctor goes sight seeing.

Why the Ninth Doctor really quit.

Christmas with the Doctors.

Not as funny, but the tenth Doctor has some nice legs.

Ten meets Five. Hey Aa, this is the short Doctor Who special Tser and I got to see at OriCon, in case you haven't seen it.

Bonus: Robin Hood Spoof. It's just like the show. Sadly.

* * *

And, related only in that the actor who played the Master in Who stars in this, I have got to get you guys watching 'Life on Mars'. It's a great British series about a cop from 2006 who ends up stranded in 1973. Which really doesn't accurately describe it's brilliance. I mean can you watch this trippy intro to one of the eps and tell me you don't want to see more. It's also a complete series, so you don't have to worry about being left hanging at the end. Oh and here's a clip of Sam, Gene, and Chris running around in their swim trunks just because. *lol*
